The art of escaping, thus the action of deserting a place where one should stay, is a phenomenon quite revealing for understanding our own relationship with spaces, landscapes and the identity value we give to the land itself. From the fundamental desire to remember via the act of gathering (in)tangible memories and souvenirs with and within us create a whole new visual and formal language that distinct itself by its own coherence and inherent qualities. Through the captured fragments of visited landscapes, a whole documentation of the act of creating and collecting souvenirs is demonstrated. The emphasis is given on the so-called photographic process (capturing, printing and reproducing) when the actual specimen of study is confronted to the 3D digitalization. The mise-en-abyme created through-out this corpus of documented processes reflects the endless debate about the history and purpose of the photographic medium as a fine art.
